SoBe is a Florida-based real estate sales and rentals website that operates mainly in the areas of Sunny Isles, Aventura, Hollywood, Miami Beach and Brickell.

The Brief

SoBe pride themselves on their individual and enthusiastic approach to their work. There are lots of real estate websites around now so they wanted theirs to stand out by being more welcoming, more engaging and easier to deal with than the run of the mill competition.

The management and creative teams at Eximius share these values and it was therefore easy for us to empathize with the good folks at SoBe. We paid attention to what they told us they wanted and we believe that we delivered it - big style.

Insights

SoBe handle properties of all sizes and types and also offer new-build and development properties to the market both as rentals and for sale. Their team is small and highly focused and treats each property that they handle as a unique case. The website needed to be efficient and engaging and retain the personal touch that the owners bring to their business.

Solution

Anyone who lands on the SoBe home page will notice the bright, attractive feel that our designers have given to the site. The use of images depicting the typical Florida coastal area coupled with a light and airy color scheme combine to put the new visitor at ease and invites them to become engaged with the site.

Eximius developers also developed a powerful yet easy-to-use property search facility that is much more than a simple data entry and search form. In addition to the usual search criteria of geographical area, number of bedrooms etc site users can specify whether they only want to see waterfront properties or those with a pool and/or garage.

Rental and purchase searches are carried out on different pages to enable the visitor to quickly eliminate non relevant results. Search results are display as a list and on the map for ease of location.
